Sherwood Pictures is a Christian film company located in Albany, Georgia. This is a ministry of a local church, Sherwood Baptist Church. Their productions are comprised of mostly volunteers. Heading this unusual venture is Alex Kendrick, the associate pastor of media. Marie Keefe of Sherwood Baptist says,

And one of the ways to do that is through the gospel presentation. In addition, people have been touched by the music in FIREPROOF. In this song, our Heavenly Father is calling us back to Himself, and He desires that husbands and wives fight for their marriages, as well.
